    Carrying the Torch Forward

The energy of our last gathering was unforgettable—a powerful reminder that what we seek most on our creative path is meaning and community.

At the close of that symposium, founder Bruce Hucko entrusted us, David Kingham and Jennifer Renwick, to continue the journey. We have been part of this community for years and are deeply humbled to carry its legacy forward.

The Moab Photography Symposium has always been more than a conference. It is a sanctuary—a space for growth, inspiration, and genuine human connection. We’re committed to keeping that spirit alive.

    The Heart of MPS

    • A Focus on Personal Voice — Move beyond trends to create work that’s an honest reflection of your own experience.
    • Embracing the Creative Journey — Celebrate the process, the curiosity, and the inner work behind every meaningful photograph.
    • A True Community of Peers — A supportive, non-competitive space where we connect as fellow travelers on the creative path.

A Note from Your New Hosts

We believe the most powerful tool a photographer has is not their camera, but their way of seeing. Our mission is to create a space where that vision can be discovered, nurtured, and shared.

We can’t wait to meet you in Moab and continue this story together.

    See you in the desert,
    David Kingham & Jennifer Renwick
